How to install/configure :
- Install extension from Magento, connect via key. If you are using version 1.7 or below, then use ready to paste package. First extract the ready to paste package and upload with (not within) app directory.
- Go to admin >> Brands (By Zestard) >> Add New Create brand upload images
- Then go to product edit to assign some products.
- You can also assign multiple products to each brand by selecting multiple products and in Action select update attribute and select brand.
- The next step would be saving it then that Brand will be assigned to selected products.
- Then follow the steps according to System >> Configuration >> Zestard Extensions >> Brand Extension >> Layout.
- If you want to add block in CMS pages or CMS block, then you can use the following code:
Brand Slider : {{block type="brand/brand" template="zestard/brand/slider.phtml”}}
Brand List with search : {{block type="brand/brand" name="brand.brandlist" template="zestard/brand/brandlist.phtml”}} - Visit that CMS page.
