Ultimate News Ticker (M1)

Zestard’s brand new News Ticker module enables you to display the latest News on any selected CMS page. It can also be used to display the news on the top of all the pages in head section. The whole news can be read by the visitors, just by clicking on the link as the link will be redirected to a particular page.

News Ticker can be used but not limited to News,Any sort of promotion,Providing Information,Story Updates,Sharing Coupon Codes,Sharing Important Events,etc.

Main Features :

1. Provides multiple options while creating new News. All can be managed from backend.
2. Multiple news boxes can be displayed together as well as can be on a single page.
3. The slide transition of the news can either be horizontal or vertical and can be managed from admin section. You can also make it automatic or manual.
4. Required border and color can be applied to news section.
5. Target page can either be a new blank page or the same page.
6. Slick effect, no Flash needed.
7. Unlimited plug-in utility.
8. Admin routing patch (SUPEE-6788) compatibility.

Stability : This is the first stable release of extension.

Supported releases : This extension is tested and working great on Magento Community Edition 1.7.x, 1.8.x, 1.9.1.0 and 1.9.2.0 successfully.

Admin Features :

1. Enable/Disable module from backend.
2. Admin can set Title of every News ticker.
3. News Ticker title background color can be select from backend.
4. News slide timer can be set from backend by admin.
5. If you want border in news ticker you can add/remove border for specific news ticker and also select border color.
6. If site owner wants to display news in header , we have an option for that, site owner just has to select news ticker which he wants to display on header and paste this code in his header.phtml : $this->getchildhtml('newsbox');
   header.phtml file can be found at app > design > frontend > [Your Package] > [Your theme] > template > page > html > header.phtml
